Project Management
Project management is a competency at Abinsi. We proficiently manage internal and external teams using PMI's project management methodology. Abinsi's team of PMI certified project managers use experience, predefined processes, and industry best-practices to keep projects on budget and on schedule. Our project managers can be used to lead projects, recover projects in trouble, establish project management processes within your organizations, or manage specific tasks (such as procurement and outsource management). Our project management professionals know the ins and outs of managing transition, technology deployment, and IM/IT projects (including IT service management, software development).
PMI Best Practices
Abinsi uses the Project management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) framework, a worldwide standard for project management, to manage its projects. Effective project management, as defined in the PMBOK, involves five process groups (initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure) and ten knowledge areas (integration management, scope management, time management, cost management, human resource management, quality management, communications management, risk management, procurement management, and stakeholder management). Abinsi's methodology further defines these processes in context of the organization's culture and formally separates product deliverables from project deliverables facilitating transition of artifacts to operations teams during project closure.
Program and Portfolio Management
Troubled with inconsistent delivery of your projects? Need stronger Project Management Office processes? Abinsi can help reduce the delivery risk associated with inconsistent project delivery by implementing a PMO and introducing internal standards for your project managers. Consistent project reporting and processes reduce miscommunications and increase mobility of resources between projects (critical in environments with numerous small projects).
Abinsi's Program Management Methodology extends our project management best practices with a series of activities that facilitates the selection, control, and transition of project deliverables into mature operational environments. Our program management services include: project governance models, project identification and selection processes, tracking & dashboard reporting, issue & risk management, project quality reviews, resource management, PMO configuration, and procurement management.
